Jinju City Health Center Honored as a '2-Time Winner' of the 2022 Excellence Awards!

Awarded for Excellence in Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Management Project and Public Medical Service Contributions

Jinju City Public Health Center in Gyeongnam received the Excellence Award at the Gyeongsangnam-do Public Healthcare Symposium.

The "Excellence Award in Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Management Project" was awarded in recognition of the significant contributions made by managing preceding diseases (hypertension, diabetes) through improving residents' awareness related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and promoting healthy lifestyle practices, strengthening community emergency response capabilities, and actively linking local public health medical institutions for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and management.

In particular, the "Know Your Blood Vessel Numbers Project with the Munsan-eup Village Chiefs," operated throughout this year, was evaluated as an excellent case by raising awareness of healthy lifestyle practices among local residents through village broadcast education on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and management, home blood pressure measurement, and healthy lifestyle practice education, achieving high project satisfaction.

The "Public Medical Service Merit Award" was received in recognition of supporting the community reintegration and functional recovery of discharged patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in connection with the Regional Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Center, and contributing to the establishment of the Gyeongsangnam-do public health medical cooperation system through information exchange and cooperation with related organizations.
