[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The theme of the national agenda review meeting, presided over live for 100 minutes by President Yoon Seok-yeol on the 15th, was condensed into three topics: the economy and people's livelihood, the vision and strategy for the local era, and the three major reform tasks.

A presidential office official said at a meeting with reporters on the 14th that the originally announced theme was narrowed down to three, excluding the "future growth engines."

The official added that while preparing for the meeting, there were many opinions that more in-depth discussions were needed for each topic, so they decided to reduce the number of themes.

Regarding the future growth engines sector, the official stated, "President Yoon Seok-yeol personally presided over export strategy meetings last month and conducted focused inspections," adding, "There will be several opportunities in the future as well."

The meeting will include about 150 participants, including 100 citizen panelists, who were selected based on recommendations from each ministry, focusing on policy beneficiaries.

The official explained that each ministry carefully selected and invited individuals who are policy beneficiaries or deeply involved in the respective fields, saying, "These individuals will ask questions to the ministers or the president."

He continued, "Through the process of asking and answering, if there are points that need to be supplemented in the current implementation, they will be further improved and reflected in next year's work report, and then the national agenda will be pursued more intensively next year. We plan to continue this process."
