[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 14th that it will operate a continuous recruitment system at Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort in preparation for the full-scale reopening.

Lotte Tour Development plans to hold a monthly "Job Concert," where applicants can directly tour and experience hotel rooms, food and beverage facilities, casinos, etc., and have on-site career consultations with experts. The first Job Concert will be held simultaneously in Jeju and Seoul from January 5 to 7 next year.

The recruitment targets are in the hotel, casino, and integrated support fields. In the hotel sector, recruitment will be conducted for front office, customer lounge, concierge, room management, uniform, laundry, and customer call center (Seoul-based) positions in the room division. In the food and beverage division, personnel will be hired for Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Western cuisine, room service, lounge, and banquet hall. In the culinary division, recruitment will proceed for the Japanese restaurant (Umeyama), buffet restaurant (Grand Kitchen), pastry (Pastry), Korean, Japanese, Western cuisine, and room service. The spa division will hire spa managers, spa therapists, spa concierge, and jjimjil spa staff.

In the casino sector, recruitment will be conducted mainly in table games, casino marketing, casino finance, international marketing, and resort service departments. For the casino, applicants for the 7th class of the Dream Tower Dealer Academy (DDA) are being recruited until the 25th of this month.

As the number of foreign tourists gradually increases, Lotte Tour Development plans to give preference to talents who can speak English, Chinese, and Japanese, while diversifying recruitment beyond hotel and casino experience to include various occupations, prospective graduates, and women with career interruptions.

Kim Jinhee, Executive Director of Human Resources at Lotte Tour Development, stated, “To focus on hiring local personnel, we plan to expand the recruitment scope to include not only those with experience related to hotels and resorts but also those with diverse experiences in the local service industry.”
