Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land Named Among Korea's Top 100 Tourist Attractions

Geochang-gun Selected for the First Time, Extensive Promotional Support for 2 Years from 2023 to 2024

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, represented by the Y-shaped suspension bridge, has proudly been listed in the 2023-2024 Korea Top 100 Tourist Attractions selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

Since officially opening Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land last year, the county has made great efforts in various promotions to revitalize tourism, achieving the remarkable feat of being selected for the Korea Top 100 Tourist Attractions for the first time in Geochang County's history. Seven locations in Gyeongnam were selected.

Based on big data analysis, Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land has attracted approximately 430,000 tourists from its official opening in November last year until November this year.

Additionally, visitors continue to flock to the healing forest and accommodation facilities, including the country's first Y-shaped suspension bridge without piers, an accessible deck road, a forest experience center, and a native plant garden.

County Governor Goo In-mo said, “We are very pleased that Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land has been selected for the 2023-2024 Korea Top 100 Tourist Attractions for the first time in Geochang County. As extensive promotional support will be provided for the Anti-Aging Healing Land over the next two years, Geochang County will do its best to provide high-quality tourism services.”

Since its opening in November last year, Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land has welcomed over 430,000 visitors, and about 10,000 people have experienced wellness programs through forest experiences and forest healing programs, establishing it as a nationwide tourist attraction.
