Gyeonggi-do Ddareungi Everybike, Recruiting Advertisers Using Shared Bicycles

Commercial advertising using shared bicycles has become possible. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that the "Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Outdoor Advertising Act," which includes the above content, has been enforced since December 6.

Due to the nature of shared bicycles, they are continuously exposed to the general public throughout local communities, establishing themselves as a lifestyle-oriented advertising medium. Additionally, the more citizens use shared bicycles, the greater the advertising effect becomes.

As the advertising market expands, Everybike plans to accelerate the selection of advertising business owners to secure a new market and establish the advertising model using shared bicycles as a standard.

Goo Bon-yeong, CEO of Everybike, stated, "We are about to launch an integrated solution that maximizes advertising effectiveness by combining bicycle outdoor advertising with in-app advertising using the map within the Everybike app. Through this amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Outdoor Advertising Act, Everybike is expected to leap forward as a shared service that promotes health for both cities and citizens."

Everybike is a company providing non-motorized shared bicycle services to citizens of Gyeonggi-do under the vision of practicing carbon neutrality in daily life. It currently operates in 10 cities including Anyang, Ansan, Suwon, and Bucheon, with plans to expand to the entire Gyeonggi-do region in 2023.
