Borabit to Speak with Google, Meta, and Others at 'Vietnam Internet Day' Event... "Only Clean Exchanges Will Survive"

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Banko (CEO Yoon Sangcheol), the operator of the Borabit exchange, announced on the 13th that it was officially invited to the 'Vietnam Internet Day 2022 event' held on the 7th and gave a lecture on digital economy and blockchain.

This event was hosted by the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications and the Internet Association. Representatives from Banko, as well as Google, Meta, Amazon, Huawei, and Intel, gave lectures on topics such as the digital ecosystem, Web 3.0, and blockchain.

Kang Daegu, CTO of Borabit, who participated as a speaker, said, "We must never lose interest in the blockchain and virtual asset market, which is currently facing many difficulties," adding, "Virtual assets will ultimately grow into the core of future finance and become the center of Web 3.0 and the metaverse."

Regarding the recently turbulent virtual asset market, he explained, "The Terra-Luna incident was a disaster caused by greed, and the FTX bankruptcy was merely financial fraud through accounting irregularities."

He also stated, "In the end, only virtual assets with fundamental value and the ability to expand it will survive, and in the case of exchanges, only clean exchanges that have maintained compliance and financial order from their establishment will survive and regain trust."
