Yeongyang-gun Conducts 'Agricultural Machinery Safe Usage and Traffic Accident Prevention Mobile Training'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] In Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, from the 13th to the 15th, safety education on the use of agricultural machinery and traffic accident prevention will be conducted around the community center for 150 people in three villages including Taekjeon 2-ri, Seokbo-myeon, an area with high accident risk on roads.

This education will focus on the safe use of agricultural machinery, winter management methods, and traffic accident risk cases. Reflective stickers will be attached to agricultural vehicles such as tractors and cultivators that travel on roads, as well as motorcycles, electric wheelchairs, and bicycles, and will be individually distributed to attendees on the day.

In particular, the reflective stickers can be identified from about 150 to 200 meters ahead due to the reflection of light from oncoming vehicles, which is expected to enhance drivers' early recognition during both day and night, thereby increasing the effect of accident prevention.
