[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul announced on the 12th that it is officially welcoming the winter season by opening the "Oasis Ice Rink."
The Oasis Ice Rink at Banyan Tree Seoul boasts the largest scale among hotel ice rinks, covering approximately 320 pyeong (about 1,057 square meters). Surrounded by Namsan Mountain, visitors can enjoy outdoor skating leisurely as if being in nature even within the city, and the rink is decorated with Christmas lights and various ornaments, creating a fantastic winter atmosphere. During the day, families can enjoy skating in a lively atmosphere and experience lessons from professional instructors, while after sunset, visitors can create special memories by enjoying romantic night skating.
This year, in collaboration with the premium luggage brand Rimowa, a snow globe-shaped sculpture, an aluminum tree reminiscent of Rimowa’s iconic material, and giant ornaments will be installed at the center of the ice rink. Additionally, the "Rimowa Festive Popup Zone" will operate within the Oasis space until the 18th of this month, and customers who visit the popup zone or participate in events will receive hot packs, cold brew coffee, and stickers as gifts.

The Oasis Ice Rink will be available until February 19 of next year and can be used daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, on the 16th, 17th, 30th, and 31st of this month, operating hours will be extended until 9 p.m., and on the 23rd and 24th, night skating will be separately opened with shortened hours until 5 p.m.
