Suzy and Yang Sejong Star in Leading Roles
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Online video service (OTT) Netflix is producing the popular webtoon 'Iduna!' as a series.
On the 12th, Netflix announced that actors Suzy (Bae Suzy) and Yang Sejong have been cast as the leads in the new series 'Iduna!'.
Based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Min Song-ah, 'Iduna!' is a romance drama about college student Wonjun, who meets Iduna, a retired K-pop idol who has withdrawn from the spotlight and now lives in a share house. The series is directed by Lee Jung-hyo, who also directed 'Crash Landing on You' (2019) and 'Life on Mars' (2018).
Suzy plays Iduna, who was the main vocalist of an idol group but declared her retirement and now lives reclusively in a college share house, while Yang Sejong plays Wonjun, an ordinary college student with a pure heart.
