[Seoul District News] Seongbuk-gu Recruits 247 People, Over 40% Increase from Last Year, to Support Employment and Livelihood Stability for Vulnerable Groups & Supports Vulnerable Groups Including Socially and Digitally Disadvantaged & Applications Accepted at Local Community Centers Until December 14
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced that all projects submitted to Seoul City for the first half of 2023 Safe Jobs Project have been selected, and participants will be recruited until the 14th.
The district is recruiting a total of 247 people for projects supporting socially vulnerable groups in economic, physical, social safety, digital, and climate environment areas. This is an increase of more than 40% compared to last year.
To this end, the district actively discovered projects that can support socially vulnerable groups and enhance productivity through internal meetings of related departments at the district office, and after actively reviewing the necessity, all submitted projects were selected in the Seoul City evaluation, the district explained.
Participants will work five days a week from January 10 to June 30, 2023, with a wage of 9,620 KRW per hour, and additional daily expenses of 6,000 KRW will be paid separately.
Eligibility requires being a Seongbuk-gu resident aged 18 or older with the ability to work as of the project start date, and no disqualifying reasons for participation. Those wishing to participate should apply through the resident center of their registered address by December 14.
