Gyeongnam Small and Medium Business Administration Holds Plaque Ceremony for 'Jakkeu' Century-Old Store in Yangsan Small Business Sector

The Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups held a plaque ceremony for the century-old store of 'Jakkeu' in Yangsan.

'Baeknyeon Gage' is a project that discovers excellent small business owners with long experience and know-how and supports them to survive and grow for more than 100 years. Currently, there are a total of 107 companies in the Gyeongnam area, and 12 companies have been designated in Yangsan.

When selected as a Baeknyeon Gage, a certificate and plaque are provided, and benefits such as preferential treatment in innovative small business support projects including facility improvement and interest rate reduction on policy funds are given. In addition, the Gyeongnam Small and Medium Business Administration is promoting Baeknyeon Gage planning broadcasts and operating small business supporters to carry out customized publicity in the Gyeongnam area.

'Jakkeu' was first established in 1997 as 'Demeter Gwajajeom' in Bukjeong-dong, Yangsan City, and moved to Yangsan New Town in 2004, changing the store name to 'Jakkeu'.

CEO Kim Seok-il has grown into a bakery recognized in the region by continuously striving for technological development, including training at famous overseas baking schools while operating the business.
