Metabev Korea Opens 'World Whisky Airport Popup Store' at The Hyundai Seoul

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] MetaBev Korea announced on the 9th that it will hold the 'World Whiskey Airport Pop-up Store,' where visitors can experience whiskies from various countries, at The Hyundai Seoul from the 16th to the 29th.

At this pop-up store, visitors can experience whiskies from various countries including Denmark, Australia, Israel, and Ireland, as well as Scotch whisky and bourbon whisky imported by MetaBev Korea, all within an airport-themed space.

The pop-up store offers consumers the chance to taste eight types of whiskey from six countries. It will sell a total of 27 brands and about 80 products, including GlenAllachie, Michter's, Old Pulteney, Starward, Milk & Honey, Dingle, and Sturning brands, at prices lower than the market price.

Additionally, rare items such as GlenAllachie 30 Year, GlenAllachie Billy Walker 50th Anniversary Edition Set, Michter's Barrel Strength Rye, and Michter's Rye 10 Year will be sold in limited quantities for one day only on the 22nd. Notably, the GlenAllachie Billy Walker 50th Anniversary Edition Set will be introduced for the first time in Korea, with only five sets available for sale.

A MetaBev Korea representative said, “As consumer interest in whiskey has recently increased, we wanted to promote whiskies from third countries beyond the well-known Scotch and American whiskies. We hope this World Whiskey Airport Pop-up Store will be a great opportunity for consumers to experience a variety of whiskies and discover their own whiskey preferences.”
