[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] LG Uplus announced on the 8th that it will broadcast live the finale performance of Kim Ho-joong's nationwide tour concert on its Internet TV (IPTV) service ‘U+tv’ and the K-pop idol specialized media platform ‘Idolplus’.

The finale performance of Kim Ho-joong's nationwide tour concert ‘ARISTRA’, held at the Daejeon Convention Center Exhibition Hall 2 at 5 p.m. on the 25th, will be broadcast live through the U+tv and Idolplus application (app) and web platforms. In particular, the web version of Idolplus is available not only in Korea but also overseas, allowing Kim Ho-joong fans living around the world to vividly enjoy the excitement of the concert venue.

LG Uplus explained that this popular live broadcast is part of the U+3.0 platform strategy to expand the customer base of its representative entertainment platforms, U+tv and Idolplus. Idolplus has so far provided content focused on K-pop idols such as VIVIZ, Wheein, and N.Flying, including various award ceremonies, but now plans to expand its performance content lineup to various fields, including the concert of artist Kim Ho-joong, who covers all genres from classical to trot.

Live broadcast tickets can be purchased from the 13th on U+tv Live (channel 234) and the Idolplus app and web. The domestic content fee is 33,000 KRW (including VAT), which is up to 85% cheaper than on-site tickets. When purchased overseas through the Idolplus web version, tickets are available for 24.42 USD (including VAT).

To commemorate the live broadcast of Kim Ho-joong's concert, LG Uplus is running a promotion where 100 customers who purchase tickets through U+tv Live by the 19th will be selected by lottery to receive various goods such as Kim Ho-joong's autograph poster, tour knee blankets, light sticks, and sweatshirts.
