[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Noroo Paint, a color-specialized company, announced on the 8th that it is recruiting the 'Pantone Paint Official Experience Group' to celebrate the selection of '2023 Color of the Year Viva Magenta.'

On the 2nd, US-based Pantone announced 'Viva Magenta' as the color that will lead trends in various fields such as fashion, living, and culture in 2023. Reminiscent of flowers blooming in tropical rainforests, Viva Magenta captivates the viewer's gaze, presenting a balance between warmth and coolness. It is a color that evokes dynamic and positive energy with its subtle crimson red tone.

Noroo Paint is the only company in Korea that implements 2,600 Pantone colors as premium paints through collaboration with the global color research institute US Pantone (PANTONE). Additionally, every year around the time Pantone announces the Color of the Year, Noroo Paint operates the Pantone Paint Official Experience Group, providing the opportunity to be the first to experience new colors through paint.

This year's recruitment for the experience group is ongoing until the 13th on the Pantone Paint blog operated by Noroo Paint. To participate, applicants must add the Pantone Paint blog as a neighbor and then fill out and submit the application form. Selected participants will receive a kit including two Pantone Paint multi-products (Viva Magenta color + one additional color) and painting tools.

Furthermore, among the experience group members who review spaces styled with Pantone Paint on their personal SNS, outstanding reviewers will be selected and rewarded with various benefits such as Pantone Paint home styling support and department store gift certificates.

Along with operating the experience group, Noroo Paint released a color sound and an introduction video of the Color of the Year, allowing indirect experience of the bold yet natural balance of the Viva Magenta color. The captivating color sound video and introduction video, which embody Pantone Paint’s distinctive color sensibility, can be viewed on the official YouTube channel 'Paint It Suda.'
