Over 200 Varieties of Strawberry Foods Gathered

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus announced on the 8th that it will hold a 'Strawberry Universe' event featuring about 200 kinds of seasonal winter strawberry products.

During this event, until the 21st, customers who purchase food products with "strawberry" in the product name at Homeplus stores and complete 5 stamps will receive a 5,000 KRW discount coupon applicable to all fruit strawberry items. One stamp is given for every 3,000 KRW spent, with a maximum of 5 stamps per day. Anyone can easily participate by logging into the My Homeplus application (app) and clicking the strawberry stamp event banner.

A variety of strawberry foods will also be offered. The first harvested strawberries of this winter (500g) and the first harvested Alkeun Seolhyang strawberries of this winter (700g) will be sold at 8,990 KRW and 11,990 KRW respectively, with discounts of 5,000 KRW and 8,000 KRW when paying with the event card. The domestic fresh strawberries mixed with soft ricotta cheese, mixed berries, nuts, and salad vegetables, called Jigeumhanki Fresh Strawberry Ricotta Salad, is priced at 3,990 KRW. The sweet and sour mixed berry topping on fresh domestic pork sweet and sour pork, called Jigeumhanki Mixed Berry Sweet and Sour Pork, is sold for 4,990 KRW.

Homeplus bakery brand Montblancje will present a wide range of sweet desserts filled with fresh strawberries. The crispy strawberry croissant, which combines the savory butter aroma, fresh cream, and strawberry topping, is sold for 3,200 KRW. The crispy outside and soft inside strawberry cream choux (2 pieces), filled with soft cream and fresh strawberries inside crispy bread, is priced at 4,500 KRW. The strawberry square cake, topped generously with fresh strawberries and sized for individual consumption, is offered at 7,900 KRW.

On Homeplus online, from the 8th to the 9th, the first harvested strawberries of this winter (500g) will be sold at a 50% discount for 6,630 KRW. Until the end of this month, customers who order online at least once will receive a berry category discount coupon of up to 50% daily for the first 10,000 customers.

A Homeplus official said, "To welcome the returning strawberry season, we have prepared a variety of strawberry foods from fresh produce to deli and bakery so that customers can enjoy the freshest and most delicious strawberries to their heart's content," adding, "We hope everyone tastes various strawberries and has a refreshing and happy year-end."
