Imsil-gun 'Agricultural College Graduation Ceremony' Successfully Held

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 7th that it held the 2022 Agricultural College graduation ceremony on the 6th at the county office's farmer education center.

Started in 2008 with peach and Korean beef courses, the Imsil-gun Agricultural College is a long-term education program held annually, and has produced 27 courses and 804 graduates to date, enhancing the professional capabilities of farmers.

This year, the Imsil-gun Agricultural College opened in April and organized peach class (21 people) and strawberry class (25 people) courses until last month to improve farmers' professional skills.

For 46 trainees, a total of 23 sessions and 100 hours of systematic education were conducted, including theory and field practice, trainee farm consulting, and advanced site benchmarking, cultivating 37 professional agricultural managers who can lead Imsil agriculture.

At the graduation ceremony, merit awards were given to trainees who contributed greatly to autonomous activities during this year's Imsil-gun Agricultural College education period (Kang Youngseon, Yang Chanseung), and academic excellence awards were also given to trainees who completed all courses with excellent grades (Kim Yanghyun, Jo Eunsu), receiving congratulations and encouragement.

The county plans to continuously operate the Agricultural College necessary for the development of local agriculture and strive to cultivate specialized farmers by item.

County Governor Shim Min said, "I sincerely congratulate the graduates who participated with enthusiasm for the long eight months despite their busy farming work," and added, "I hope they will play a leading role in their respective positions as core leaders of Imsil agriculture based on the knowledge and experience learned at the Agricultural College."
