Se-ri Pak Presents '20 Years of Golf Life and Overcoming Crises' R&A Women in Golf Forum Poster.

[Asia Economy Reporter Seohee Lee] Director Park Seri (CEO of Baz International / Director of AGLF) will attend the 'R&A Women in Golf Forum' hosted by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) and present on the topic.


The 'R&A Women in Golf Forum' will be held on the 9th at the Tanamera Country Club in Singapore, where the first round of the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open takes place. This forum, focused on women's golf, will feature presentations on the importance of increasing the female golf population and various aspects of female golf leadership, followed by in-depth discussions.


The presenters include R&A Director Jackie Davidson, Dominic Wall, R&A Asia-Pacific Regional Director, Director Park Seri (CEO of Baz International / Director of AGLF), Professor Kim Sun-young of Gachon University, and AGLF Secretary-General Paul Park.


Among them, Director Park Seri will be the first speaker with the topic "A journey in golf and addressing barriers or challenges." She will share her experiences, challenges, and overcoming crises gained through over 20 years of playing career.


Professor Kim Sun-young will present on the growth process of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), which is divided into the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd divisions as well as the Champions Tour where senior players compete. The presentation will focus on how the unique three-division jump tour system has discovered many future leaders of Korean women's golf and enhanced its competitiveness.

The Asia Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF) plans to present on its founding background, future plans for the development of women's golf in the Asia-Pacific region, and its key role in expanding the Ladies Asian Tour (LAT) series in collaboration with 13 golf organizations from 12 countries.


Jackie Davidson, Director of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club (R&A), said, "The Asia-Pacific region has grown into a leading area for women's golf worldwide, and it is very meaningful to hold the R&A Women in Golf Forum in Asia for the first time. I expect this to be a very significant occasion." She added, "For golf to thrive and the golf industry to develop over the next 50 years, more women need to participate in golf."
