Dior's 2023 Fall Men's Fashion Show unfolded on a desert stage capturing the colors of the sky, the vast landscape, and the passage of time, as the lighting changed on an autumn night in Giza beyond the Great Pyramid, where the sunset settled. As time flowed from midday toward dusk and a fiery, intense sunset cast its glow, the fashion show, which began with a gray gradient color, continued with a color palette highlighting the charm of the desert.
The 2023 Fall Men's Collection revealed through the fashion show presented designs completed based on the rigorous principles of the past, represented by the Dior archive, and the present, represented by the men's atelier, with a particular focus on pattern cutting. This collection, which fully embraces lessons from the past and applies them to the present and future, features tailoring that transforms feminine elements into masculine ones, outerwear combining couture finishing techniques with technical practicality, designs that reinterpret embroidery from the archive into futuristic crests, and leather products that express luxury elements in organic and practical silhouettes.
Additionally, the naturalness and elegance considered the most important elements in Dior's design can also be felt. The technical jacquard was intentionally designed to be transparent, revealing garments based on tailoring and outerwear, and the wool demi-kilt, reminiscent of a crinoline, derived from the bias pleated skirt of the Dior dress called BONNE FORTUNE from the 1950s, also offers a natural charm.
