[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS25 announced on the 7th that it has collaborated with ‘Dosan Bunsik,’ a famous snack bar in Apgujeong, to launch restaurant meal replacement (RMR) products.

The newly launched products include two items that faithfully recreate Dosan Bunsik’s signature menus: ‘Dosan Bunsik Myeongran Mayo Rice’ and ‘Dosan Bunsik Bibim Noodle Set.’ The Dosan Bunsik Myeongran Mayo Rice is a triangular gimbap featuring egg rice mixed with burdock strips and topped with myeongran (pollock roe) salad. The Dosan Bunsik Bibim Noodle Set consists of a maze-style bibim noodle seasoned with soybean paste and garlic sauce based on Dosan Bibim Noodles, paired with spicy bulgogi gimbap.

Since their release on the 30th of last month, these products have gained popularity both online and offline, selling over 300,000 units within five days. Starting from the 8th, online pre-orders will be available through the ‘Our Neighborhood GS’ application (app).

A GS Retail official stated, “We collaborated with the retro-sensibility snack bar Dosan Bunsik to offer its signature menus as delicious convenience store foods so that many customers can enjoy them. We will continue to introduce collaborations with well-known brands and high-quality restaurant meal replacements so that customers can experience the taste of famous restaurants at nearby convenience stores without having to visit in person or wait in long lines.”
