Birth of Thought, Development of AI Algorithm for Child Behavior Analysis

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] EduTech company Saenggakui Tansaeng (CEO Lee Jong-yeol) announced on the 6th that it has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm that comprehensively analyzes children's interest, curiosity, challenge, task immersion, self-esteem, and more, based on behavior observation data collected from actual educational settings targeting children from infancy to lower elementary school grades.

The child observation data analysis algorithm 'Aladini' is provided to early childhood and elementary education sites under the name of the advanced diagnostic solution 'Geniwa.' It was serviced to 10,000 users this year, and the company explained that in 2023, it expects to secure about 100,000 users, including local government education office targets, and achieve sales of 5 billion KRW.

Saenggakui Tansaeng anticipates that this algorithm can be applied to other industrial fields incorporating AI. It is expected to expand business in fields requiring behavior observation data of humans and animals, such as the silver industry and the companion animal industry.

Lee Jong-yeol, CEO of Saenggakui Tansaeng, said, "The vast amount of child behavior observation data is important data that can predict children's behavioral characteristics and potential abilities," adding, "It will be an important turning point for realizing personalized education services."
