[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Bagelcode announced on the 6th that it received the '50 Million Dollar Export Tower' and 'Service Tower' awards at the 59th Trade Day ceremony.
The 'Export Tower' is an event hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and awarded annually on December 5th, Trade Day, by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to companies and contributors who have contributed to pioneering overseas markets, expanding exports, and creating jobs.
Bagelcode has been growing every year, starting with the 1 Million Dollar Export Tower award in 2015, reaching 30 Million Dollars in 2021, and 50 Million Dollars this year. Over the past five years, it has grown at an average annual rate of 180%, recording sales of 81 billion KRW last year and turning a profit in the first half of 2022.
In particular, this time, in addition to the Export Tower, Bagelcode was recognized for its overseas export achievements by receiving the Service Tower, awarded to the top three companies in the 'Service and Electronic Intangible Goods' category. The Service Tower awards a total of nine companies, selecting one company each from six categories among the top three performers among applicants.
Bagelcode is continuing both external expansion and internal growth, expanding the development of new casual games and its data-driven publishing business. Based on accumulated data, AI technology, and UA marketing know-how in the global market, it plans to leap forward as a data-driven mobile publisher supporting success on mobile platforms.
Kim Junyoung and Yoon Ilhwan, co-CEOs of Bagelcode, said, "Our main games recently entered the top 150 in total sales on the US Google Store, steadily achieving meaningful results in the global market," adding, "Based on stable sales from existing businesses, we will actively diversify our business to contribute to exports through greater growth."
