Meet 22 Masterpieces by 11 Famous Korean Painters Nationwide
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that from December 8 to December 31, it will hold a year-end special invitational exhibition titled "Winter Walk" at Gokseong-gun Gallery 107 and four street galleries.
This exhibition features 22 large works by 11 famous Korean painters nationwide. Participating artists include Kang Kwang-il, Kang Jong-rae, Moon Jae-sung, Park Chang-soo, Park Chung-ho, Song Gwan-yeop, Shin Dong-ho, Oh Bok-dong, Lee Seung-yeon, Jung Myung-don, and Cho Young-seok.
A representative of the Korean Painting Promotion Association said, "This exhibition presents works that inherit traditional techniques with each artist's unique style, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The diverse and refined works will add enjoyment to the viewing experience."
A Gokseong-gun official stated, "We prepared this space so that visitors to Gokseong in winter can take a comfortable walk and find rest. We hope this exhibition will be an opportunity to widely promote cultural Gokseong."
Gallery 107 is located at 107-1 Jungang-ro, Gokseong-eup, Gokseong-gun, Jeonnam. During the exhibition period, it is open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on public holidays.
