[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] The Korea Association of Realtors (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Station3, the operator of the real estate platform Dabang, announced on the 5th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to revitalize the real estate transaction market and develop the real estate brokerage industry.
The MOU ceremony was held at the Association's Central Hall in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, attended by Lee Jong-hyuk, president of the Association, and Han Yoo-soon and Yoo Hyung-seok, co-CEOs of Station3. The purpose is to strengthen the cooperative network between Dabang and the licensed real estate agents affiliated with the Association and to establish a fair and transparent transaction culture within the real estate market.
The two parties plan to promote mutual growth by ▲ strengthening the cooperative system including technical consultation related to one-stop services ▲ activating collaboration and supporting promotional marketing ▲ exchanging information related to the real estate market and proptech, and fostering joint development through this exchange.
An official from the Association stated, "Today, the professionalism of licensed real estate agents and the technological capabilities of proptech companies are inseparable symbiotic relationships in the real estate brokerage market," adding, "We will continue to discuss win-win plans with Dabang to establish a safe transaction culture for consumers."
