Hosted by the Fire Agency and organized by the Korea Fire Safety Institute, this competition was held for the first time this year to discover and share excellent fire safety plans according to the scale of fire target facilities and to enhance the work capabilities of fire safety managers nationwide.
The competition was divided into three categories according to the scale of fire target facilities: Special Grade, Grade 1, and Grades 2 and 3. The practical safety management skills of fire safety managers were evaluated based on the 2022 fire safety plans of each fire target facility.
The Korea Racing Authority Busan·Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters passed the Gyeongnam regional preliminary round in October in first place, and in the finals, which involved 57 facilities that passed the preliminary rounds by city and province nationwide, they received the Grand Prize in the Grade 1 category.
