The 2022 second half academic conference of the Korean Society of Climate Change was held over three days from November 30 to December 2 at the Jeju International Convention Center under the theme "Climate Change and ESG Management."

Climate change is no longer just a story about polar bears but has become a matter of everyday life for all of us, as we experience abnormal weather on the Korean Peninsula year by year and anticipate the severe cold this winter approaching. This is why the academic conference of the Korean Society of Climate Change, which presents diverse and concrete measures ranging from social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering to all technical means, policies, and strategies to solve Korea's carbon neutrality and climate change issues, is gaining attention.

At this climate change conference, small and medium-sized enterprises practicing ESG management in Korea gathered in one place. In particular, Kingmaker Co., Ltd. (CEO Don-gu Lee) participated as a poster paper presenter at this academic conference and announced the commercialization plan of the latent heat flow system (LHBS) developed so far and the performance goals planned for demonstration around the end of December. The environmentally friendly corporate will to proceed with the project was also shown with the target company for commercialization, Wave Park in Gyeonggi-do.

CEO Lee said, "Through attending this conference, I wanted to hear various opinions from domestic and international expert researchers on the demonstration presentation of our patented boiler exhaust gas latent heat recovery system on-site. Also, I expect to explore cooperative bodies in various fields such as research and development and technological cooperation at this conference."

The Korean Society of Climate Change is making efforts to respond to various climate change issues by involving researchers and companies who have contributed to academic research and greenhouse gas reduction activities related to climate change.
