The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 458, down by 2 from the previous day. The number of critically ill patients has remained above 400 for 17 consecutive days.

There were 40 new COVID-19 related deaths reported. The cumulative death toll stands at 30,769, with a fatality rate of 0.11%.

As of midnight on this day, the winter vaccination rate was 22.0% for those aged 60 and over, and 30.1% for residents of high-risk facilities.
