AI Learns Consumer Hot Water Usage Time, Applies 'Smart Hot Water Function' to Prepare Hot Water

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Kiturami Co., Ltd. announced on the 5th that it will launch the premium model "Kiturami Geokuro NEW Condensing L10 Gas Boiler," equipped with a smart hot water function that maximizes hot water quality.

The Kiturami Geokuro NEW Condensing L10 Gas Boiler is an eco-friendly boiler that meets the Ministry of Environment's eco-certification standards (energy consumption efficiency of 92% or higher, nitrogen oxide emission concentration of 20ppm or less, etc.) with a first-grade energy consumption efficiency and first-grade low NOx (nitrogen oxides) domestic standard.

In particular, it newly applies the "smart hot water function," where the boiler learns the time consumers use hot water and prepares it accordingly, providing excellent hot water quality. The smart hot water function is a big data AI system that independently learns the user's hot water usage patterns by time of day and delivers hot water quickly. Based on data learned over several days, it preheats the heat exchanger starting 30 minutes before the expected usage time, allowing hot water to be used without waiting.

The low-tank heat exchanger, a core component supporting the smart hot water function, stores a large amount of water inside, enabling fast hot water delivery and supplying abundant hot water simultaneously even in homes with two bathrooms.

Additionally, by finely adjusting the flame size of the eco-friendly metal fiber burner, which determines hot water quality, it maintains a consistent hot water temperature desired by consumers not only when using a large volume of hot water but also when using a small amount sensitive to temperature changes.

This new product excels not only in hot water quality but also in heating performance, inheriting the traditional Kiturami Geokuro low-tank type boiler. It is optimized for ondol heating, enabling rapid heating even on floors covered with reinforced flooring or marble, which are relatively difficult for heat conduction, and in homes with large floor areas.

Moreover, it incorporates a dual safety system built into the main body, consisting of Kiturami Boiler's proprietary technology (patent No. 10-1845856) gas leak detector and earthquake sensor, preventing safety accidents caused by internal gas leaks or strong vibrations in advance. Furthermore, it comes standard with a premium Internet of Things (IoT) indoor thermostat (NCTR-200WIFI), allowing remote control of various boiler functions without time or location restrictions.

The Kiturami IoT remote control system can connect up to four users to one indoor thermostat. Users can easily utilize convenience-enhancing additional features such as voice guidance and child lock, as well as basic functions like checking boiler status, operation, and fault diagnosis via smartphone. Real-time monitoring of boiler status and fault self-diagnosis notification functions enable quick response to various unexpected situations, and big data analysis allows the system to learn consumers' usual usage habits to provide a better user environment.
