Plans to Continuously Expand the Scope and Scale of Business Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Members announced on the 5th that it has been selected as a supplier company for the ‘Data Voucher Support Project’ for the third consecutive year.
The Data Voucher Support Project is operated by the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency (K-DATA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT, which selects companies possessing data and processing technologies as suppliers to provide data and services necessary for new service and product development or data-driven business innovation to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.
Last year and this year, Lotte Members participated in data sales and general/artificial intelligence (AI) processing sectors to provide data services to demand companies. AI processing is a service that develops or improves AI models optimized for the needs of demand companies, and the company plans to further strengthen this next year.
A Lotte Members official said, “Based on our data expertise, this project can provide practical assistance to a variety of companies, from small businesses hoping to enter distribution channels such as department stores, large marts, e-commerce, and home shopping, to startups seeking new business opportunities. Since it is an important project in terms of win-win cooperation and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management, we plan to further expand its scale and scope in the future.”
