[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 3rd at 7 a.m., Dongdaemun-gu Mayor Ilhyung Lee visited the snow removal sites around Dapsimni 1-dong and Jeonnong-ro to inspect the situation and personally engage in snow removal work, thoroughly ensuring the safety of residents amid the snowfall.

The mayor checked the operation status of snow removal vehicles and equipment. In particular, he actively participated in snow removal by personally operating a patented sidewalk spreading device that allows adjustable snow-melting agent discharge, which was recently registered.

Ilhyung Lee, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “We will implement thorough snow removal measures to ensure residents do not experience inconvenience due to the first snowfall of this winter. We will continue to do our best to realize a ‘Safe Dongdaemun-gu’ by introducing advanced snow removal equipment.”

Dongdaemun-gu lifted the first stage snow removal duty at 9 a.m. on the 3rd and transitioned to a reinforcement stage duty system.
