Conspiracy Theorist Appears on Internet Broadcast, Says "Hitler Is Good"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyun-jung] Hip-hop artist Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), who has recently been frequently embroiled in controversy due to anti-Semitic remarks and the termination of his collaboration with Adidas, has once again been banned from Twitter.
According to foreign media reports, on the 1st (local time), Ye posted a short message on his Twitter account saying "YE24 LOVE EVERYONE" along with a photo of a symbol combining the Nazi emblem, the Hakenkreuz (swastika), and the Jewish symbol, the Star of David. Ye deleted the post shortly after uploading it, but currently, when accessing Ye's account, the message "Account has been temporarily suspended" appears.
Prior to this, Ye's Twitter account was suspended in early October due to anti-Semitic remarks. His account was restored on the 20th of last month but was banned from accessing Twitter again after just ten days.

Elon Musk, who recently acquired Twitter, stated on the 2nd in a reply to Ye's Twitter account, "I did my best. Nevertheless, he violated our rules on inciting violence again. The account has been suspended." Musk had also sent a cryptic message to Ye the day before, saying, "Jesus taught love, kindness, and forgiveness. I used to think turning the other cheek was weak and foolish, but I was a fool for not recognizing its profound wisdom."
Meanwhile, Ye's provocative behavior and boundary-crossing remarks occur almost daily. On the same day as the post controversy, he appeared on an internet live broadcast run by far-right conspiracy theorists and said, "I like Hitler." The show, Infowars, is a representative fake news site, and its operator, Alex Jones, is known for claiming that the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was fabricated.
On that day, Ye appeared on the broadcast wearing a black mask covering his entire face, but the host Jones called him "West" and even posted on Twitter using Ye's phone, clearly confirming his identity.
Ye insisted, "Hitler invented the microphone and the highway that I use as a musician," adding, "I can't say he did nothing beneficial." Regarding these remarks, foreign media such as AFP clarified that Hitler did not invent these things.
Ye continued, "Every human being performs valuable acts, and Hitler is even more so," emphasizing, "We must stop belittling the Nazis. I love the Nazis." Jones, embarrassed by Ye's boundary-crossing remarks, tried to manage the situation by saying, "The Nazis were thugs and committed heinous acts," but Ye did not relent in his claims.
Ye has long been known to suffer from bipolar disorder. In 2020, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian publicly revealed on her Instagram, "As many people know, Kanye (Ye) has bipolar disorder. Those who have this disorder or have a family member with it know well that it is very complex and painful to understand," adding, "He is a very intelligent and complex person, so sometimes his words may not mean what he intends."
