[Asia Economy Reporter Youngwon Kim] Kyung Hee Medical Science Research Institute announced on the 2nd that it signed a business cooperation agreement with Qgenetics on the 7th of last month to promote research exchange and joint development.


At the event, Professor Kyung Sik Yoon, director of Kyung Hee Medical Science Research Institute, Jang Moon Seok, CEO of Qgenetics, and key officials from both sides attended. According to this agreement, the two organizations plan to jointly carry out the development of industry-academia-research-hospital (industry, university, research institute, hospital) cooperative research programs, discovery of joint research projects, and academic exchanges for the advancement of medical science.


Qgenetics is a bio-venture company developing first-in-class innovative drugs for osteoporosis and fracture treatment. It was selected as a promising venture company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.


At the signing ceremony, Director Yoon said, "Kyung Hee Medical Science Research Institute will spare no effort to provide the best support based on the knowledge and clinical data possessed by Kyung Hee University and Kyung Hee Medical Center until Qgenetics' innovative drugs are commercialized."
