DA Technology Appoints Former Outside Director Kwon Ho as Head of New Business Promotion Headquarters

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] DA Technology, a specialized manufacturer of secondary battery production equipment (CEO Lee Jongwook), announced on the 2nd that it has appointed Kwon Ho, former outside director, as Head of the New Business Promotion Headquarters (Vice President).

Kwon Ho, Head of the New Business Promotion Headquarters, is a talent equipped with extensive experience and expertise in overall management based on practical experience at various companies.

A DA Technology official stated, “Through Kwon Ho’s IT-related expertise, experience, and network, he is expected to lead the development and supply of new overseas customers and new equipment,” adding, “We anticipate a positive synergy effect for the company’s growth.”

DA Technology possesses production capabilities for most secondary battery equipment such as stacking, folding, and notching, and has also succeeded in developing wide-cell stacking and high-speed laser notching. In November, it secured an order worth 11.8 billion KRW for laser patterning equipment from a US-based secondary battery manufacturer, marking the first domestic order of its kind. On the 1st, it signed a strategic partnership with Turkey’s Temsa for the development and manufacturing of electric bus batteries, collaborating with leading overseas companies.
