SK Supex Council Expands and Reorganizes Overseas Business Support Strategy Committee

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] SK Supex Council has expanded its Strategy Committee to support overseas business operations.

On the 1st, the council announced that it maintained the current system of seven committees while expanding and reorganizing the Strategy Committee into the Strategy & Global Committee to support member companies' global business operations during the 2023 executive appointments.

The council stated, "In a challenging environment with increased economic uncertainty, we have carried out organizational restructuring and executive appointments focusing on strengthening infrastructure to continuously support the growth stories of member companies and enhance global business synergies among them."

Additionally, changes were made to the chairpersons of each committee.

Jang Yong-ho, President of SK Siltron, was appointed Chairperson of the Environmental Business Committee; Yoo Young-sang, President of SK Telecom, Chairperson of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Committee; Park Sang-gyu, President of SK Enmove, Chairperson of the Talent Development Committee; Lee Hyung-hee, President, Chairperson of the Communication Committee; and Cho Kyung-mok, President of SK Energy, Chairperson of the Social Value (SV) Committee.
