[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] The Korea Autism Love Association (President Kim Yongjik) announced on the 1st that it held a donation ceremony with Aurora World (CEO Hong Giseon, Noh Jaeyeon) at the Irum Center on the 28th of last month. The donated items, worth approximately 250 million KRW, consist of stuffed dolls and toys, which will be delivered to children with developmental disabilities after the ceremony.


Attending the ceremony were Kim Yongjik, President of the Korea Autism Love Association, Vice President Park Seongyeol, and Kim Yoryeon, Executive Director of Aurora World. The donated items include Detective Butt Keyrings, Wishwing Lying Dog Dolls, Mission Secret Note Toys, and will be distributed to children with developmental disabilities through related organizations.


Aurora World has continuously supported individuals with autism through the Korea Autism Love Association since 2019. The company demonstrates its commitment to ESG management in various ways, such as hosting family love camps for the rest, recovery, and health of autistic individuals and their families nationwide, and donating 10,000 masks.


Regarding this, Noh Jaeyeon, CEO of Aurora World, stated, “We have continued our support to give dreams and hope to children with developmental disabilities by utilizing Aurora World’s capabilities and resources. As a CEO of a company growing together with children and as a Korean entrepreneur, I consider this a natural responsibility and feel honored to have this opportunity.”


Kim Yongjik, President of the Korea Autism Love Association, said, “We are deeply grateful that Aurora World empathizes with the association’s vision and continues its support,” adding, “We hope they will remain a strong partner in the future.”


Meanwhile, the Korea Autism Love Association is the only organization representing the rights and interests of autistic individuals and their families. It was established in December 2006 with approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The association implements family support projects, rights advocacy and awareness improvement projects, educational research projects, and policy development and system improvement projects to promote the rights and social integration of individuals with autism and their families. Its affiliated institutions include the Center Bom short-term care facility for the disabled, the Trust Decision Support Center, the Vocational Talent Development Center, the Byeolbyeol Sports Center, the Gangdong Green Narae Welfare Center, and it operates 10 branches nationwide.
