[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Singapore's Tiger Beer announced on the 1st that it will launch 'Tiger Radler Pomelo,' which adds a refreshing tanginess to its crispness, in the domestic market.
Tiger Radler Pomelo offers the sharp refreshment of lager perfected through Tiger's unique tropical lagering brewing technique, combined with the fresh flavor of real pomelo juice. Additionally, with an alcohol content of only 2%, it can be enjoyed lightly.
Pomelo is the largest fruit in the grapefruit family, commonly found in Southeast Asian resorts. Its taste and aroma are similar to the familiar grapefruit, but it is characterized by less sourness and bitterness, and a smooth sweetness.
A Tiger Beer representative stated, "As the culture of enjoying light alcoholic beverages takes root, interest in low-alcohol drinks continues to rise. Considering consumers' preferences for seeking and trying new and diverse flavors, we launched this new product. We expect Tiger Radler Pomelo, which combines the refreshing taste of Tiger, Asia's representative beer, with the sweet and tangy flavor of pomelo juice, to receive a positive response from consumers."
Founded in Singapore in 1932, Tiger Beer is known for maintaining the rich original taste of beer with a crisp yet full-bodied flavor through its brand-exclusive 'tropical lagering' brewing technique. According to global data last year, Tiger Beer ranked first in export volume among Asian beers, representing premium Asian beer. This year, through brand ambassador Son Heung-min, it continues to grow as Asia's representative beer.
