Hitler's Handwritten Memo Auctioned... Estimated Price 41 Million KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] A handwritten note by Adolf Hitler, written in preparation for a speech in 1925, is going up for auction.

According to the British Daily Mail on the 29th (local time), the handwritten note by Hitler containing related content ahead of the speech that marked the beginning of Nazism in 1925 will be publicly auctioned for the first time in about 100 years. The estimated winning bid is ?26,000 (approximately 41 million KRW).

The Daily Mail reported that Hitler wrote this note while preparing for his 1925 Beer Hall speech. On February 27 of that year, Hitler delivered a speech in front of 3,000 audience members at the Munich Beer Hall.

In the note, the year '1918', when Germany signed the armistice agreement, is underlined, followed by the sentence "What went wrong?" The year 1918 was when Germany and the Allied Powers signed the armistice agreement after World War I.

Hitler also described the left wing in the note as "forever ended due to crime" and the right wing as "collapsed because of cowards."

Auction expert Richard Dayvie explained about this note, "Hitler's signed materials are extremely rare in any form, and this note holds special significance in Hitler's consolidation of power."
