One Spirits Launches 'Wonsoju Classic'... Available on Online Mall Starting Tomorrow

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] One Spirits Co., Ltd. announced on the 30th that starting from the 1st of next month, it will launch and begin selling 'Wonsoju Classic' on the Wonsoju online mall.

One Spirits plans to officially release Wonsoju Classic, which gained great popularity as the 'Lineage W Limited Edition,' and promote the unique quality and charm of Wonsoju Classic. To emphasize the characteristics of Wonsoju Classic, created through atmospheric distillation, a copper-colored label symbolizing the pot still was applied.

Wonsoju Classic uses No. 5 yeast, selected after over nine months of testing among eight yeast strains developed by the Korea Food Research Institute for its superior taste, aroma, and fermentation speed. Wonsoju Classic features rich aroma and deep flavor made from Toto-mi, a pristine rice from Gangwon Province, nuruk, and yeast extracted from nuruk. Additionally, it is distilled using atmospheric distillation, an optimal method for the strong flavor unique to traditional distilled soju, resulting in diverse aromas and deep taste.

When consumed lukewarm, Wonsoju Classic offers its distinctive aroma and smooth throat sensation, while drinking it cold provides a clean umami taste that captures the essence of traditional liquor. It pairs especially well with rich dishes such as meat and Chinese cuisine.

Wonsoju Classic will be sold on the Wonsoju online mall, just like Wonsoju. A total of 30,000 bottles will be sold monthly, with 1,500 bottles available each weekday from 11 a.m.
