Responding to Risks That May Arise in Self-Sufficiency Workplaces and Daily Life

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] On the 29th, Gwangju Buk-gu announced that on the 30th, it will conduct 'Humanities and Safety Education for Self-Support Work Participants' at the Buk-gu Youth Training Center Sangsangmaru.

This education was prepared to alleviate the social alienation of residents participating in self-support work and to enhance their ability to respond to risks that may occur in self-support workplaces and daily life.

The education, held with about 250 participants including self-support work participants, will be conducted through a humanities program and emergency response safety education.

First, Professor Kim Yeonhee of Jeonbuk National University will conduct a special lecture and empathy sharing program under the theme 'Happiness also requires practice,' healing the communication breakdown and weakened minds of self-support work participants and helping them recover a healthy daily life.

Next, instructor Lee Semi, a coast guard lifeguard, will provide essential safety education such as first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillator operation, and procedures for airway obstruction to enable quick response to emergencies in self-support workplaces and daily life.

Director Moon said, "I hope this education will provide self-support work participants with a moment of rest and stability and serve as an opportunity to live safely," and added, "We will continue to prepare various support measures for those who have the will to work and actively participate."
