[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Total sleep care brand Evejari Co., Ltd. announced on the 29th that it held the 2022 Love Blanket Delivery Ceremony with the Seoul Community Chest of Korea and donated 1,300 comforters by the end of the year.
The Love Blanket Delivery Ceremony has been ongoing for 14 years since 2009 as part of Evejari's social contribution program, Eve Angel activities. The bedding donated by Evejari through the Love Blanket Delivery Ceremony has exceeded a cumulative total of about 23,300 sets (worth approximately 3.5 billion KRW) as of this year.
Notably, this year's Love Blanket Delivery Ceremony was held in connection with the 'Donation Run' and 'I am also a Donation Angel' donation campaigns commemorating Evejari's 46th anniversary, launched in October. The Donation Run campaign, conducted through nationwide marathon events, donates one blanket per finisher by Evejari. The I am also a Donation Angel campaign donates comforters according to the number of customers who agree to the campaign after purchasing bedding at about 400 stores. As a result of the campaign's conclusion, with active participation from the entire nation, Evejari donated a total of 1,300 bedding sets, more than in previous years.
At the delivery ceremony on the 28th, Evejari first donated about 600 bedding sets worth 100 million KRW to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea. The remaining bedding will be delivered to international relief organization Korea Food for the Hungry International and social contribution network Happy Alliance by the end of the year. The donated items will be distributed to vulnerable neighbors susceptible to cold waves, such as elderly living alone, low-income households, and disabled households, through social welfare institutions nationwide, including the Gangseo Hope Sharing Welfare Foundation in Seoul.
Additionally, Evejari continues various contribution activities for local communities. It regularly supports single-mother families, multicultural families, sponsored children, and welfare centers in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, where its headquarters is located. It also operates the Baekhap Cultural Foundation, which supports culture and arts, expanding the scope of sharing.
Yoon Jong-ung, CEO of Evejari, said, "This year's Love Blanket Delivery Ceremony was conducted together with the entire nation, allowing us to practice warmer sharing than before," and added, "We will continue to uphold the corporate culture of the 'Three Giving (Sam-su, 三授) Spirit'?giving first, giving enough, and always giving."
