Nongshim Launches 'Lifeal Plant-Based rTG Omega-3'

Nongshim Lifeal Plant-Based rTG Omega-3 is a product that combines rTG Omega-3 produced by Polaris, the world’s number one company based in France, with vitamin D and vitamin E that meet the daily nutritional intake requirements. rTG Omega-3 refers to omega-3 with higher purity and absorption rate compared to conventional omega-3 (TG, EE).

Omega-3 can help improve blood triglycerides, blood circulation, and eye health, while vitamin D aids in bone formation and maintenance and reduces the risk of osteoporosis. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from harmful oxygen species. The plant-based omega-3 applied by Nongshim is extracted from marine microalgae and is a verified ingredient certified by international standards such as Europe’s V-LABEL vegan certification, Kosher, Halal, ISO9001 (International Organization for Standardization), and GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s).

A Nongshim official explained, “Since the ingredient is extracted from plants, it has no fishy smell, making it easy to consume,” adding, “With just one capsule a day, it is a product that supports blood circulation, eye and bone health, as well as antioxidant effects all at once.” Nongshim plans to expand its business by introducing various health functional foods under the ‘Lifeal’ brand in the future. The official also stated, “We plan to launch various new products that help improve sleep and memory as well as support metabolic systems.”
