[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] CJ OnStyle announced on the 29th that it ranked first place for two consecutive years in the 2022 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey in the TV home shopping category and also secured first place in the Korea Consumer Protection Index (KCPI).

The National Customer Satisfaction Index survey is a customer index jointly developed by the Korea Productivity Center (KPC) and the University of Michigan in the United States. It measures and quantifies the satisfaction level directly evaluated by consumers who have used products and services sold domestically, selecting outstanding companies.

In February this year, CJ OnStyle became the first in the industry to open a dedicated media wall studio applying new video technology, discovering consumer participation content that breaks down the boundaries between TV and mobile, thereby enhancing the customer shopping experience, which led to its selection as the top company in the NCSI survey.

In particular, the media wall studio introduced the first LED signage media wall in domestic broadcasting to apply real curved technology, enhancing customer broadcast immersion with more diverse screen composition and higher realism than existing broadcasts. Virtual Reality (VR) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies can also be applied to the media wall screen, creating vivid and lifelike visuals in fashion broadcasts as if visiting an actual store, and implementing a vivid sense of space in travel and interior broadcasts as if visiting the location or experiencing the actual interior.

Along with this, CJ OnStyle simultaneously broadcast the content commerce programs "Butina's Life" and "Edge Show," which had only been aired through mobile live commerce, on TV for the first time on October 10. Since active communication between sellers and consumers through chat is a distinctive feature of live commerce that builds trust, the loyal viewers of "Butina's Life" and "Edge Show," which achieved a cumulative viewership of 2 million within less than a year, said they had a unique shopping experience moving between TV and mobile channels.

Meanwhile, CJ OnStyle also ranked first in the second 2022 Korea Consumer Protection Index (KCPI) survey.

A CJ OnStyle official stated, "Improving customer satisfaction is an essential factor for strengthening business competitiveness, so we will continue to produce broadcasts with competitive products and content, as well as make continuous facility investments to make the customer shopping experience more vivid."
