Geochang-gun, Best Friendly Public Official Award Winner 'Baek Yongjae, Administrative Officer'

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam held the Best Friendly Public Official Contest.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it held the '2022 Best Friendly Public Official Contest' to share thoughts on kindness through various case presentations related to kindness experienced by frontline public officials in the large conference room of the county office.

In this contest, 11 participants competed fiercely, and the employees who face more civil petitioners than anyone else on the front lines expressed various cases such as joyful and rewarding experiences, as well as difficult and regrettable ones, in a unique way, receiving great response from the audience.

The grand prize was awarded to Baek Yong-jae, a staff member of the Planning and Budget Office, who presented under the theme 'Kindness Idol B·T·S.' Following that, the excellence award went to Kim Areum, a staff member of Gajo-myeon, and the encouragement awards were given to Choi Gayoon of Geochang-eup and Baek Ji-won of the Safety General Division, respectively.

Staff member Baek, who received the grand prize, summarized kindness into three B·T·S (Behave, Thank, Smile) and presented cases experienced during regular work and his thoughts on kindness, deeply moving the audience and receiving high praise.

Deputy Governor Lee Jong-ha said, “For the participants, the experience of participating in the kindness contest will be an opportunity to further develop their capabilities. For the observing employees, it will be a chance to rethink kindness once again.”
