Improving Competency through CPR Theory and Practice Training for Emergency Preparedness
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City announced on the 28th that it will conduct emergency treatment training including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for public officials on the 30th at the Buk-gu Office 3rd floor conference room.
This training was prepared to enhance the importance and understanding of CPR and to improve employees' actual response capabilities in preparation for emergencies and cardiac arrest patients.
On the day of the training, an active fire lieutenant from the Northern Fire Station will serve as the instructor and conduct both theoretical and practical training on ▲actions to take in emergency situations ▲how to check the response of cardiac arrest patients ▲methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
In particular, this training, attended by about 120 employees, will be broadcast live so that all employees can observe, aiming to increase its effectiveness.
Additionally, the training on CPR and emergency treatment will be expanded to residents such as civil defense unit leaders who are active on the front lines in the region to cultivate the ability to respond to emergencies.
Director Moon said, “Through repetitive training and practice for public officials, we will strive to protect the lives and safety of residents from unforeseen dangers.”
