LG Arts Center Seoul announced on the 28th that it will hold a new program called 'Club Arc' next month, offering audiences a new experience under the theme of a 'club.'
'Club Arc,' which is planned to be held annually with different concepts, will present concerts of various genres such as jazz, tango, swing, and electronic music over four days: December 2, 3, 9, and 10 this year.
On December 2, an 8-member jazz ensemble led by Q theTrumpet (Park Jun-gyu) will perform a tribute concert commemorating the 100th anniversary of Charles Mingus, featuring guest vocalist Samuel Seo. On the following day, December 3, bandoneon star Go Sang-ji will take the stage for a tango concert.
On December 9, the 'Golden Swing Band' and the 'Sage Min Swingtet' will perform swing jazz with professional dancers. Then, on December 10, Horan, the vocalist of Clazziquai and Ibadi, will present a lounge concept concert blending acoustic and electronic music.
During the 'Club Arc' performance period, LG Arts Center Seoul will also operate a pop-up store called 'Bangsoba' from Courtyard Marriott Seoul Botanic Garden in the lobby. Audience members can present a welcome drink coupon included with their ticket to enjoy one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage at the bar. Additionally, there will be no assigned seating, allowing attendees to sit wherever they prefer, and they can freely move between the theater and lobby spaces.
Ticket prices are 66,000 KRW for all seats, and reservations can be made through the LG Arts Center Seoul website.
