Ex-EXO Member Kris Sentenced to 13 Years in Prison in China on Sexual Assault Charges

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Chinese court sentenced Kris (32, Chinese name Wu Yifan, 吳亦凡, Canadian nationality), a former member of the idol group EXO who was tried in China on charges of sexual assault, to 13 years in prison.

On the morning of the 25th, the Beijing Chaoyang District People's Court sentenced Kris to 11 years and 6 months in prison for rape and 1 year and 10 months for group obscenity. The court imposed a total sentence of 13 years for the two crimes of rape and group obscenity and ordered deportation after the sentence is completed.
