[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] KB Kookmin Bank announced that it held the awards ceremony for the ‘2022 Kookmin Creator Festival’ on the 24th.
The ceremony, held at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building, was attended by Seong Chaehyun, Head of the Personal Customer Group at KB Kookmin Bank, broadcaster Yoo Byungjae, and external judges from Elvest, Oricom, and Sandbox Network.
A total of 174 teams participated in the ‘2022 Kookmin Creator Festival,’ held to discover and support talented creators. Based on video ▲completeness ▲communication ▲originality, the competition went through preliminary and final evaluations, awarding a total of five teams: one Grand Prize winner, one Excellence Award winner, one Merit Award winner, and two Encouragement Award winners.
The Grand Prize was awarded to the ‘Come Here Comedy’ team, who received high praise for introducing KB Star Banking’s services in an original way using fashion-themed ‘lookbook’ content. The Grand Prize team was granted a creator growth support fund of 10 million KRW, a feature on the KB Star Banking main screen, and the privilege to shoot content with broadcaster and creator ‘Yoo Byungjae.’
The collaboration shooting privilege with ‘Yoo Byungjae’ will take place at the creator support space ‘Live & Live Studio’ operated by KB Kookmin Bank, and the content will be released on KB Kookmin Bank’s official YouTube channel in December.
The ‘NF Studio’ team, which introduced KB Star Banking with trendy videos and rap, won the Excellence Award and received a creator growth support fund of 8 million KRW. The ‘My Boss Cat’ team, which personified a cat to add humor, won the Merit Award and was provided with a high-end filming equipment set. The ‘LOLO_롤로’ team, who induced viewer focus through calm musical performances, and the ‘Samdaega Monkey’ team, who introduced their autobiographical story of using KB Star Banking in webtoon format, both received Encouragement Awards and were given priority to participate in the 2023 creator education program hosted by Sandbox Network.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “Through the fresh ideas of the participants in the 2022 Kookmin Creator Festival, we were able to grasp trends,” adding, “We will consider more diverse ways to support capable creators.”
