Gunpo Fire Station Firefighter Park Ji-hoon Wins Excellence Award at the National Fire Investigation Academic Conference

Firefighter Park Ji-hoon of Gunpo Fire Station, Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, won the Excellence Award at the National Fire Investigation Academic Conference.

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters won the Excellence Award at the '2022 National Fire Investigation Academic Conference' held on the 24th at the Kensington Hotel in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do.

On the 25th, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that firefighter Park Ji-hoon from Gunpo Fire Station received the Excellence Award, the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award, for his paper presentation titled "A Study on the Fire Risk Caused by the Synergistic Effect of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and Dust."

The academic conference, hosted by the National Fire Agency on the day, featured fire investigators from nine city and provincial fire headquarters who passed the first round of document screening among papers submitted by 19 city and provincial fire headquarters nationwide, presenting research papers focused on fire cases.

The National Fire Investigation Academic Conference is held annually to improve the investigative skills of fire investigators, share research results, and promote the exchange of fire investigation information.
