Latest Science Trends Made Fun and Easy at a Glance

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Gwacheon National Science Museum will publish popular science books covering the latest research trends and scientific topics starting from the 28th.

The title is '2023 Future Science Trends,' which compiles the Gwacheon Science Museum's YouTube channel program 'Science News with Haesseol,' explaining various topics in an easy yet professional manner. It is expected to capture both fun and scientific knowledge by explaining scientific topics that can be professional and difficult in an easy and enjoyable way.

From science as an academic discipline such as space, chemistry, physics, life sciences, climate change, and computer engineering to cutting-edge practical fields, it approaches new topics and keywords every year. It helps us living in the era of science and technology to draw a scientific landscape in our minds by providing the latest science trends.

Beyond providing interesting information, it thoroughly explains the underlying principles so that readers can deeply encounter the necessary latest scientific information. It covers not only global trends but also stories about Korea, which plays a leading role in trending research. As an appendix, it includes explanations of the Nobel Prizes from 2021 and 2022, allowing readers to grasp the future of science and technology at a glance.

Lee Jeong-mo, director of the Gwacheon Science Museum, said, “The science museum is a place that constantly strives to provide a space for empathy and communication with the public beyond the delivery of scientific knowledge. I am very pleased that our efforts have been published again as a book,” and added, “I hope many people enjoy science as a culture through this book and have opportunities to come up with new questions in the process.”

This book will be available for purchase at bookstores nationwide from the 28th and will also be available as an e-book starting December 2.
