[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] LG CNS has appointed Vice President Hyun Shin-gyun (Head of the D&A Division) as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
On the 24th, LG CNS held a board meeting and conducted a regular executive personnel reshuffle. They proactively responded to changes in technology and management environments and selected a large number of technical talents to prepare for the future.
First, Vice President Hyun, who is in charge of data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) at the D&A Division, was appointed as CEO. The new CEO Hyun will further advance the business execution system centered on IT expertise and lead the DX market.
Since 2010, the new CEO Hyun served as the Head of the Business Innovation Group (Executive Vice President) at LG Display, leading company-wide IT innovation. In 2017, he moved to LG CNS and consecutively held positions such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of the D&A Division, leading LG CNS into a specialized expert organization focused on technological capabilities. Prior to that, Vice President Hyun worked as a global innovation expert at Accenture, the United Nations (UN), and AT Kearney. He is recognized for his outstanding capabilities in new technology areas such as cloud, big data, and AI.
