[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Daesang announced on the 24th that Cheongjeongwon has launched 'Apple Chomo Vinegar,' made by naturally aging and fermenting domestically sourced apples.


Apple Chomo Vinegar is a product fermented using the patented 'Chomo (Mother of Vinegar)' by Daesang. Chomo obtained from naturally fermented vinegar is a microbial crystallization formed by the combination of fermenting bacteria and enzymes, which helps the formation of organic acids necessary for our body. This new product is fermented with the patented Chomo, containing various beneficial organic acids for the body and a higher content of free amino acids compared to regular apple vinegar, allowing for a healthy enjoyment.


The new product is slowly naturally aged and fermented using 100% domestically sourced apple ingredients, offering a superior taste and apple aroma compared to regular vinegar. It has a mild sourness, making it possible to satisfy both taste and nutrition simultaneously. It can be diluted with mineral water for drinking or enjoyed cool with carbonated water during summer. Depending on preference, it can also be used in various dishes such as salad dressings, cold soups, and seasoned dishes.


A Daesang official stated, "We have introduced a premium drinking vinegar product containing healthy nutrients for consumers who are interested in diet management and self-care," adding, "We will continue to focus on product development to meet diverse consumer needs in line with the latest trends."
